Close Enough to Hear God Breathe is a book that tells the beautiful story of God our Father who wants an intimate relationship with His children. Greg Paul uses such lovely imagery on each page as he goes through the Bible, showing time and again how our Creator longs to draw us close to Him.

I am normally a very fast reader, but I found myself reading this book in small doses so that I could take the time to meditate on the things that were presented in each chapter. I will admit that I have struggled at times to believe that God would desire a relationship with ME, with all of my brokenness and problems. This book was a powerful reminder that God knows all of those things and still wants to be with me. 

This was a very uplifting book that encouraged me in so many ways. Stretching my thinking and perceptions with strong Biblical truth, I was able to enter into a new level of a relationship with God, entering into His presence with a sense of security and peace. This is a book that I will reread many times and I am sure I will find new nuggets of goodness each time I do.
